1.
a. Steam/electric
b. Steam/electric
c. Steam/electric
d. Irrigation/agricultural
e. Mining
f. Irrigation/agricultural
2. Mostly farming is done in the west, so a need to water plants a is high. In the east there are a lot of factories, so the water there is used differently, for steaming and electrical purposes. In east there also is an abundance of sea creatures for consumption, such as lobster, crab, and fish. In the west, however, water is needed to breed the cattle that we eat here.
3. East: They have more factories and it rains a lot more there so not as much water is needed for irrigation or agriculture.
South: More factories and more wetland, like marshes, that minimize the need for the agricultural use of water.
Midwest: More train usage, and the land is probably too dry for extensive farming.
West: More farmlands and orchards, and there is nothing to really mine so water used for that is little.
Alaska: It is too cold to grow any products, but there are plenty of products underground to bring up.
Hawaii: The conditions there a good for growing fruits and sugar, and because of its volcanic state there is nothing to mine.
